“Happiness doesn't result from what we get, but from what we give” Ben Carson. C'est avec cette excellente pensée que Sr Nisrine introduit son mot sur la visite faite à “Camilla Gardens Retirement Residence” situé au 1119 Bathgate Drive Gloucester, Ottawa. Elle poursuit:
“After buying and wrapping gifts for the needy children and giving them to Sr. Andree, from Mère Bruyère’s shelter, and after singing and celebrating the Emmanuel with their family on the stage of the Providence Academy, the grade 2 till 6 students were so excited to share the joy of Christmas with the elderly in the Camilla Gardens retirement home on Friday, December 19, 2014. The angelic voices of our students filled the air and the seniors joined them in singing the traditional Christmas carols. At the end, every resident received a Christmas card made by the children with the help of Mrs. Mireille Bechara, the Art and English teacher, and Mrs. Nina Lahoud and Mrs. Samira Sader, the French teachers.
Santa was surely waiting for our students to return and hand them their unique gifts.
Special thanks to Mrs. Salwa Khayrallah for capturing our moments with her camera and making them memorable.”
N’est-ce pas le véritable sens de Noël ? Joyeuses Épiphanie !
