On the evening of June 8th, Bond Academy had its annual Spring Concert. The 2017 Spring Concert was titled “A Celebration of Canada’s 150th Birthday through Canadian Musicians and More”. It highlighted many songs by Canadian musicians as well as some other aspects and activities of Canada.
The concert was split into two shows according to the grades. No matter whether it was a vocal performance, dancing or instrumental, the students provided an outstanding performance for the audience to enjoy! The concert started with the Bond Cheer team’s energetic performance. The students in Montessori to Grade 8 dressed in different styles of outfits to represent Canadian culture, and sang a variety of songs by Canadian musicians, such as Bedouin Soundclash, Justin Bieber, Steppenwolf, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Carly Rae Jepsen.
Ms. Harvey, the Vocal Music Teacher at Bond, expressed her sincere thanks to the people who worked together to make the 2017 Spring Concert a big success. Thanks to the classroom teachers who came to the practices, the elementary students who contributed the artwork along the walls, the stage manger and the volunteers who arranged everything, as well as the parents and staff who contributed many thoughts and efforts in the process.
Bravo to the Bond 2017 Spring Concert!
