On Wednesday, December 2nd, Bond Photography Club had their first workshop this semester and many photography fans joined the club.
“Do you like taking photos and want to make them artsy? Today, I will show you a simple and effective way to take better pictures. It is ‘how to use exposure?’.” said Ryan Quigley, a Bond Secondary Teacher. He introduced how to use exposure on DSR cameras to the students.
In order to help students understand more about the differences among the options of shutter speed, Mr. Quigley invited club members to try to take photos with different shutter speed together. “The pictures turned out so differently!” said club members, “It was surprising to see the different effects of using shutter speed.”
Mr. Quigley and Mrs. Brewster, another Bond Secondary Teacher who has a passion for photography, encouraged club members to use this new method when they take photos on their trip to downtown Toronto.
