On November 30th, the Scholastic Book Fair Family Night, one of Bond’s annual events, took place on campus. Students and their parents were invited to enjoy this fun Family Night together. Besides a good dinner, this year’s Pirate-themed Book Fair offered a variety of fun games and contests.
“Every year, Bond hosts two school book fairs with different themes to raise funds for the library. This fall, the Book Fair was from November 28th to December 2nd. These funds are used to purchase new books, resources, and materials for the school’s library,” said Seyna Ameree, the Librarian at Bond.
The Grade 6 class participated in a contest to design posters to advertise the Book Fair. All the students created amazing posters. They designed the posters in computer class, using their knowledge of Key Note, Pages and Graphic Design.
“The Book Fair was a huge success! Last night, our fundraising reached $3350! Congratulations!” Ms Ameree added.
A big thank you goes out to everyone who was involved with our Family Night at the Book Fair!
