On Thursday, October 23rd, Bond Academy held a Community Building Activity Day event for Grades 7 to 10.
Mr. Davies, the organizer of the Activity Day, explained that the goal was to bring together Bond Elementary and Secondary students for a day of team building activities, competition, a BBQ and more than a little fun.
Throughout the day, the importance of team work and effective leadership was stressed as students competed in Treasure Hunts, Obstacle Courses and Human Foosball competitions as a resort students forming new friendships and further strengthened the community atmosphere at Bond Academy.
We also collected lots of positive feedback from the participants. For examples “It is a great chance for us to learn team building, leadership and communication skills from our secondary students.” “We enjoyed the activity day very much.” One student said, “We are expecting a new Activity Day next year.”
