Last Friday was Hudson College’s first of many leadership development workshops. The focus was on habits and the power they carry in our lives. Elan Marko is an established presenter in Toronto and has helped many people from young students through to corporate leaders in developing positive habits and breaking down negative habits. Through reflecting on their lives students were able to develop a 30-day plan to break down or develop a habit in their life. They identified individuals in their lives that would be accountability partners, to help them maintain their plan and find success in their habit development or destruction. We at Hudson College are always seeking ways to engage our students in meaningful life explorations as they develop their own personal understanding of self and this workshop was one more step towards defining the person they will be when they move on from Hudson College to their next academic journey. We are all very proud of our Huskies!
