Hudson College has a very diverse student population, filled with students from a variety of cultural backgrounds. At Hudson, students are divided into Canadian themed houses that they will remain in from Grade 8 until Grade 12. Most recently, the Great Lakes and Rockies Houses brought diversity at Hudson College to life through hosting the first annual Cultural Day! During our Cultural Day, students travelled from classroom to classroom to learn about different cultures from around the world. In each room, students participated in trivia games, flag creations, taste testing, hockey games, a BBQ, and more. The taste and flair of European, Asian, African, Latin American, North American, and Australian cultures quickly filled the air, with the help and participation of our wonderful High School students. To end the day, the students took part in a Latin American party filled with dancing, smiles, laughter, and fun! The day was truly successful and we are already looking forward to our next Cultural Day here at Hudson College!
