At Providence Academy School, students learn to say thank you to God for the generosity of the earth that gives us life.
The Thanksgiving celebration is planned in the annual calendar of the Providence Academy, which is on Friday of the weekend prior to the national day of this feast that falls on the 2nd Monday of October.
The objective of the celebration of this feast in which students got involved in body and spirit was to share a thankful time inspired by "Laudato Si ". All the students, participated in the Eucharistic celebration at Saint Sebastian Church to which assisted the educational team as well as parents and parishioners present. After the word of congratulation and encouragement of the celebrant, the students ended the mass by a Thanksgiving song and went back to school to share a snack in the main hall.
Thank you to the staff and to the organizing committee for the success of this day as we all spent it in the joy of sharing and thanking God for the wonders of creation!
