They say Code is the language of the future. This year, AcadeCamp is introducing Junior Coders, a week where campers as young as four spend a fun-filled week of learning coding basics and logic through ScratchJR!
Scratch is a multimedia programming language used for creating stories and animations with an easy to use programming platform that can be found in elementary schools and universities alike. Campers will progress from simple projects to more complex ones, including simulations and visualizations of experiments, animated stories, and interactive art, music and much more. Scratch is currently being used in Académie de la Capitale's STEM classes.
The Junior Coders week will run from July 18 - 22, replacing the "Animal Kingdom/ Creatures Features" week.
