At a Winter Gala celebrating Sacred Heart’s 155th anniversary, held at Montreal’s Ritz Carlton Hotel, the school proudly announces that it raised $60,000 which will go toward the school’s continuing implementation of 21st-century classroom technology, an ongoing project that will culminate with the introduction of Chromebooks with Google Apps for Education.
Capital Campaign Announced In addition, the school made a major announcement that it is launching a 3-year $5 million Capital Campaign with the theme – The Future at Heart or L’Avenir à Coeur. Roberto Di Giorgio, Chair of the Board of Directors added, “As a parent of an alumna and of a current student as well as chair of the Capital Campaign Committee, I am proud to steer this newly launched initiative to its fruition.”
Also in attendance was the Most Reverend, Christian Lépine, Archbishop of Montreal, several sisters from the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the principals of Loyola High School, École Bilingue Notre-Dame de Sion and The Priory School.
