Halloween is a time for goblins, ghosts, and hair-raising monters to roam the streets for a trick or a treat. It is a time where spooky stories are told around campfires and frightening movies are viewed in cinema theatres or at home. The most fun, of course, is the creative pumpkin carving that occurs in most households and perhaps even in some schools.
This year, Cambridge International Academy's student council worked together to put on their creative thinking hats to organize action-packed and spooky Friday afternoon Halloween Activities for all our students to enjoy. Among the varied events, students played friendly, competitive games for delicious, sweet treats, worked in teams to carve the most original pumpkin, and for those students who were brave enough to experience a 'creepy thrill', visited the eerie haunted house to save one of our missing comrades.
On behalf of the administrative team at Cambridge, we give a big applause to all our students who put in their time and energy to organize this event. We also want to thank our teachers for helping to oversee the activites and even baking the pumpkin seeds. Please visit our facebook page for more photos and a quick video of the haunted house. We wish you all a safe and happy Halloween.
