This time, gr. 2-6 kids went hiking along Fullerton Loop at Bragg Creek. It was literally a full day hike on Friday, October 2, 2015. It took them almost 5 hours to complete the loop with a few breaks in between. The weather was just perfect on that day. Sunny and enjoyable for such a long hike. Neither too warm or too cold. Another great opportunity for the kids to learn more about nature and also to teach them to give more appreciation to the beauty of our land. As we all know, it's not an easy task to motivate kids to walk for hours. However the 2 teachers and 1 chaperone dad who went with them definitely did an awesome job to keep them going. The kids had lots of fun and tons of exercise, for sure. Although at the end of the hike, one of the kids said cheekily, 'I'm very sure I had enough exercise to last me for the whole month!!' :D Hmmm....now where should they go next? :D
