BSS students from Grades 6 to 12 experienced a very big treat on April 18 when Dr. Jane Goodall came on campus. Jane is one of the world’s most revered fearless leaders and visited BSS to speak about her extraordinary experiences as a scientist, activist and humanitarian. We see the same attributes we foster in students through our Signature of a BSS Girl in Jane and the chimps she has spent a lifetime studying and protecting, so we used those attributes to promote the event with the ‘teaser’ posters below. Our great thanks to Jane, the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada and our Intersection and BSS Annual Fund supporters for making this important event happen. Everyone in the room was inspired to hear about Jane’s life and the ways she and her supporters have improved the lives of humans and animals around the world. Jane ended the session with a video featuring a touching moment between Jane and a chimp named Wounda.
