In Banbury, teachers believe that the whole wide world is their classroom. They take their students all ages for fieldtrips regularly.
Especially for high school students, their teachers also try their best to take them on a camping trip once a year.
Since last year, Banbury has been taking high school students on a camping trip to Camp Chief Hector YMCA. Not only the students get to do tons of fun activities, they also get a chance to work together as a team, live together as a team, try their hands on a few new activities and give more appreciation on what mother nature provides us for.
This year, with the guidance of the counsellor in Camp Chief Hector YMCA, students got to participate in a number of activities such as working together in challenge course, swinging on GIANT swing from 60' above the ground, hanging gym, hiking to Kananaskis River, archery and canoeing, just to name a few. They also had campfire and this year, one of our students wrote a song and performed it there to a guitar accompaniment by one of the high school's teacher.
What an incredible experience for both students and teachers.
The teachers and students are so excited to go back there next year!!!
