With the provincial government's decision to temporarily close publicly funded schools to prevent the spread of COVID-19, more than two-million students will be impacted, along with their parents. Prestige School teachers and administrators alike have been undaunted by the challenges that have been presented to them in these unprecedented times and continue to exemplify the qualities we seek to develop in our students - they have been intellectually engaging, courageous, innovative, and dedicated. They have keenly implemented a new platform of online learning following their regularly scheduled timetables in a virtual classroom using ZOOM, Google Classroom, email correspondence, and even phone calls. With their efforts, Prestige School is able to provide all classes daily customized to each grade level. Teachers and students are able to communicate daily on course materials, engage and interact with one another, and work in groups together. It is an uncertain time and it is important that we continue to provide the children with the best possible education. In addition to furthering their learning, we are providing them with stability and a sense of normalcy in an otherwise chaotic time. This is truly invaluable.
Prestige School offers a beacon of hope in their efforts to deliver to students the very best educational experience within our present-day conditions.
