Marlo Davis played Division I basketball for the University of North Carolina-Wilmington. Davis began his career coaching men's basketball at NCAA DII East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. While coaching, Davis completed a Master's Degree in Education. After a two-year stint in Oklahoma, Davis returned to Toronto where he began working in the community. He began coaching a girls AAU team, Sisters Keeper, which would become one of the premier programs in North America. After two seasons with the club, Davis and several of his players ventured to Crestwood Preparatory College where they have become arguably the best girls high school program in Canada.
