On January 23rd 2015 students from each grade presented their results of weeks of thinking, planning and creating.
First place in the junior category went to Samantha A. who "blew" judges away with her outstanding demonstration and explanation of the Coanda Effect. Second place winners were Diana B. and India L. who were "infinitely" superior with their infinity mirror demonstration. Serena S., in third place, impressed with her trebuchet model and Emmy A. picked up an honourable mention for her excellent explanation of Marie Curie's research.
In the intermediate level, William P. won first place for his impressive description of wireless energy transmission. Second place went to Jason P. for his amazing mobile refrigeration design. Mark C. won third place for his interesting ball-chain experiment and honourable mentions were awarded to Isabelle G., Muhammed A., Jerry M., Paula G. and Sofia S.
The senior level celebrated Zein T. in first place with her fantastic wine-making experiment. Second place winners were Daniel H. and Ian M. who "moved" judges with their combustion engine design and third place was received by Karim B. for his crystal radio design. An honourable mention went to Mark J. for his algae growing experiment.
