Teen camps are geared towards kids between the ages of 13 and 18. While they might have younger kids as well, they have programming specifically focused on your growing child.
This can take a variety of forms. But it often involves providing structured activities that allow your teen to develop such traits as independence, adventurousness, leadership skills, and social skills.
Most teen camps offer the opportunity to spend a lot of time outdoors, and to pursue passions and develop skills through activities and sports, like swimming, canoeing, and volleyball. Several also enable kids to extend their learning throughout the summer.
