Campus was a colourful mosaic this week as students expressed themselves for Spirit Week 2014. To kick off Spirit Week, the Upper School hosted its annual Grade Cheer-Off in which students wore clothing in their grade assigned colours and cheered their hearts out – the winner will be announced in Prayers soon.
In the Junior School, students were allowed to wear nail polish in their grade colours on Monday. Tuesday was Green & Gold Hockey Day, when Havergal’s hockey team faced off against the Bishop Strachan School for an annual exhilirating game. Wearing green and gold, the Havergal community cheered on the Gators with enthusiasm.
Throughout the week, students participated in various fun events such as Pajama Day, Crazy Sock Day, a competitive student vs. faculty trivia game, dodgeball tournaments and more. It is a fun way to brighten up a cold and snowy February. Way to go House & Clubs Prefects Nikki Camella and Hailey Chin for organizing these events!
