On May 22, the Junior School welcomed Space Explorer Dr. Anousheh Ansari for an exciting visit! Two Grade 6 students greeted our guest and gave her the tour of the Junior School. They also showed her the dream pictures and the Dream Wall created by our Junior School students and faculty earlier this week, which highlighted their dreams and goals for the future. Dr. Ansari gave a fun presentation to the entire Junior School, in which she showed a video that detailed her 11-day experience at the International Space Station (ISS). Later, she worked with the Grade 6 classes on their science projects about human habitation on Jupiter’s moon Europa. Thank you to Dr. Ansari for taking the time to speak with our students and answer their questions about space and life aboard the ISS. It truly was an out-of-this-world experience that our Junior School students and staff will never forget.
